With the chaotic changes happening in health care reform, insurance companies are far less likely to cover extended therapy for stuttering—or to reimburse clinicians providing such therapy. They may limit you to 30-minute sessions. They may even cap the number of sessions you can access per year.

As a result, So Cal Stuttering cannot accept insurance plans. However, we strongly believe in universal access to speech therapy for anyone who stutters. While we cannot offer pro bono work, we do our best to work with any client, regardless of financial situation.
